About this role

As a Pre-sales engineer you will be responsible for interacting with potential clients to determine their needs and explain the value of our platform.

You are also tasked with creating presentations, supporting the AE in the creation of proposals, and other activities that help seal the deal. You may be asked to prepare/create demos based on prospects’ requirements.

PSE collaborates with different teams in the organization to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are supported by our Operational team.

Your responsibilities
  • Deal qualification, evaluate the opportunities together with the Account Executive to understand if it is in target with our business

  • Assist the sales team to meet or exceed sales quota, through the provision of technical expertise

  • Participate actively in the sales process from deal qualification to deal closure

  •  Is knowledgeable of the competition and can identify weaknesses and opportunities

  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm

  • Coordinate closely with Account Executive, CSM, and Operational team to align solution design with customers’ business requirements

  • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close”, organize workshops and prepare or create dedicated demos 

  • Owning the technical solution introduction, demonstration, helping the AE to build the proposal, and delivery

  • Support the Account Executive in the creation of the account plan, and help identify growth opportunities

  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure

Who we are looking for
  • You have strong presentation skills and professional behavior

  • You have professional experience in pre-sales in a software company or an IT services company (1-3 years experience)

  • Able to work independently and with flexibility

  • Fast learner and willing to improve efficiency

  • Proactive and able to problem solve

  • Highly motivated 

  • Teamwork enthusiast, open-minded and able to work accordingly to processes

  • Precise, detail oriented and able to multitask

  • Consolidated knowledge of Google Productivity Suite

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills detail-oriented

  • May be required to travel

  • Based in London

  • French is a plus
